St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church of Yettem

A pilgrimage to Armenia, particularly to Holy Etchmiadzin, is a significant spiritual journey for many Armenian Christians. Holy Etchmiadzin, the heart of the Armenian Apostolic Church, holds profound religious significance. The re-opening ceremonies at this sacred site after years of reconstruction of the Mother Cathedral will attract pilgrims, clergy, and dignitaries from around the world, In conjunction with this re-opening, the blessing of the Holy Muron, a sacred anointing oil used in sacraments such as baptisms and ordinations will be taking place which happens every seven years. For eleven pilgrims from Yettem, witnessing the blessing of the Holy Muron and attending these rare ceremonies will be a deeply spiritual experience. The eleven Yettem Pilgrims includes: Judy Dudukian Skaff, Tina Margosian Peters, Janice (Davidian) McWilliams, Becky (Davidian) Atkin, John Kalfayan, Sandy Kalfayan, Colleen Majarian, Margie Davidian, Kathy Ashford, Debbie Sheklian and Myron Sheklian.
